Window over the garden
A quiet, refined place for people who came here to find their balance. More than a stay — a few days that give something back.
Biancolivo is a country house in the heart of Cilento. Only four rooms, because quiet doesn't survive being divided too many ways.
Everything here is arranged around the moments worth keeping: breakfast in the morning, green all around, and water waiting for you.
Breakfast and pool access are always included in the rate.
Each room was designed as its own pocket of calm, with colours chosen to slow you down rather than wake you up.
Salt electrolysis keeps the water clear and soft — gentle on skin and eyes, and far easier to swim in than chlorine.
Open 1 June — 30 SeptemberA court of your own, between the vegetable garden and the olive trees. For the morning match, or the one that runs into sunset.
By reservationWhen the pool closes, Cilento starts its best season. Fewer people, more time, and everything people actually come here for.
The court doesn't hibernate. Two nights, a match in the morning and another in the evening, good food and rest in between. The best months to play here are exactly the ones nobody comes for.
You walk into the grove, you pick, you follow the crop to the mill, and in the evening you taste the new oil on warm bread. It isn't a guest activity — it's what happens here anyway, and you're welcome to join.
The Greek temples at ten degrees, no crowds and no sun hammering the stone, are a completely different place. Half an hour from here. Same trip: the buffalo mozzarella dairies, which work better in winter.
The National Park is unbearable in summer and perfect in winter. Trails, gorges, empty hill villages. Leave in the morning, come back to dinner ready.
What's worth doing around here, month by month. Written by us, because we live here.
Opening times, tickets, the right route through the three temples and the museum. And why January beats August.

Naples Capodichino, the main airport, is about 65 km away (roughly 1h15 by car). Closer still, Salerno–Costa d’Amalfi airport is about 45 km away (45 minutes), with direct flights to several Italian and European cities.
Take the Eboli exit on the A2 del Mediterraneo motorway, then 15 minutes through the olive groves on a country road.
The nearest station is Battipaglia (Naples–Salerno–Battipaglia–Sapri line). From there, a taxi or private transfer is easiest — write to us and we’ll help arrange one, as local buses to Altavilla Silentina run infrequently.
